Rhys is a co-founder of Carbonaught. His experience spans academic research, data science, and engineering.

He started as a data scientist at a mining contractor, focusing on operational analysis and improvement in the same team as Andrew and James. He then moved into engineering at a startup, developing and evaluating audio-based algorithms. The company was later acquired by Pfizer.

Rhys holds a PhD from Griffith University, where he also earned a degree in Engineering with a major in Electronic and Computer Engineering. He holds strong opinions on audio quality.
